The Mulgrave Senior Cricket Association Incorporated (MSCA) has been a long standing organisation prior to its incorporation in 1997. It has provided and will continue to provide support for Hard Wicket Cricket in the Mulgrave District including Gordonvale, Edmonton, Babinda and Miriwinni. More recently the MSCA expanded to include Southern parts of Cairns, Innisfail, Kurrimine Beach, Mission Beach and Tully.

AIMS of the Association:

• To provide a competitive senior cricket competition for, but not limited to, the Southern Districts of Cairns through to Tully.
• To uphold the laws of Cricket and the Spirit of the Game.
• To give equal opportunity for all members of the community, male and female, to be able to participate in a fair and competitive cricketing environment.

ACTIVITIES:

• Administration and enforcement of By-Laws and Laws of Cricket.
• Dispute Resolution.
• Management of fixtures, results and general running of the Hard Wicket Cricket competition.
• Organisation and presentation of trophies, awards and associated functions.
• Creation and maintenance of an informative web site, including competition results, fixtures, individual player statistics, Association news and information, and an interactive on-line Discussion Forum for members of the association to use.

The Association is currently in a strong position with over 150 playing members and eight teams actively participating in its competition. It is our intention to maintain this level and continually improve and expand our support base.
